Welcome to the Young Irish Film Makers club on Deviant Art.

The purpose of this club is to promote the work of the Young Irish Film Makers and also to create a community for like minded Deviants.

JOINING
To join us on DA simply put us on your devwatch, send us a note stating you would like to join and put our Avatar in your journals. To join in the real world, visit our website for details.

You DO NOT have to be a member in the real world to join on DA! You will be recognised as a Friend of Yifm.

RULES
Standard Deviant Art rules apply to this club.
Please be respectful to other deviants. Any breach in DA rules or bad conduct towards other members will not be tolerated.

COMPETITION November 2005
Okay folks, so it's about time we got our act together and got some competitions and events going.
Seeing as we have no ID yet I've decided the 1st competition theme is a ~yifm ID!
Rules:
1. Entries accepted by ~yifm members only.
2. One entry per member and the piece must be an original deviation. No existing deviations will be accepted.
3. Submissions must be related to ~yifm or film making.
4. Submissions will be accepted until 25th November 2005. No acceptions after closing date.

COMPETITION SUBMISSIONS
To submit a deviation for the comp, simply put it in your gallery and send us a note with the heading "Competition Entry" and a link to the deviation in the note.
Remember to keep your deviations the appropriate size for ID pictures!

VOTING
After the 25th of November all members of ~yifm will be asked to vote on the submitted deviations.

PRIZES
Prizes for the first comp are as follows;
1. The winning deviation will be the ~yifm gallery ID piece.
2. The winner will also recieve a 3 month subscription to DA, kindly sponsored by *oss237



SUBMITTING
To submit your deviations to the gallery simply send us a note with Deviation Submission as the title, a link to the deviation must be provided in the note.

All work submitted must be related to the Young Irish Film Makers OR the film making process! We will accept onset photos, short scripts, screen shots and posters etc.
Standard DA rules apply.
